By Swami Aniruddha
Before I met Guruji, my life looked a little different. I owned a classic Volkswagen camper van that I used to travel everywhere. I absolutely loved the freedom and simplicity of that life. However, when I moved to Shree Peetha Nilaya Ashram in Germany, I sold the van. I didn’t have a use for it anymore, and I was ready for a new chapter. Still, I cherished the memories of those good old times. Guruji and my brothers often teased me about that old van, joking about the "adventures" I must have had. Because of their jokes, the memory of the van stayed alive long after I handed over the keys.
A Seed is Planted
When the decision came to move to America, a thought instinctively rose in my mind, “Wouldn’t it be amazing to travel around the US in a van, sharing the love of Gurudev and the path?” Before my first journey to the States last year, I spoke with my brother, Swami Revatikaanta, about how I could best serve the mission there. We concluded that traveling to visit the sanghas fit my personality perfectly. We even joked, imagining how amazing it would be if I had my old van back to tour America. We laughed it off as a silly dream. I did briefly look online, hoping camper vans in the US might be cheap, but I quickly realized that wasn't the case and dropped the idea entirely.

The Unexpected Message
Soon after arriving in America, there were hints of a vehicle—Swami Shridhar mentioned a trailer donation—but it wasn't quite practical for the travel we would be doing. So, I let it go and went on with life. Then, one day, I was sitting in my room when I received a message from Rishi Jaigopal. He had forwarded me a text from a devotee that included several pictures of a fully equipped camper van. The devotee wrote:
"Jai Gurudev. I was gifted this van a year ago... It was given to me after many fire ceremonies to Lakshmi last summer at SPN. It may be of use to the ashram... It has solar power, a refrigerator, toilet, shower... Something to consider. It was a gift from God and it should be in service to God."
I read the text and honestly thought it was a joke. But Rishi Jaigopal confirmed: This was a gift from God.
The Flow of Grace
When I met the devotee who originally donated the van, she told me she would be incredibly happy to see me use it, as she had watched my travel vlogs. I had created no expectations, yet here it was —becoming a reality.
Through her generous gift, this adventure is possible.

Our Upcoming Journey
And so, my brother Rishi Aditya and I have started planning our next adventure! From mid-February through mid-April, we will be touring the United States. I am so looking forward to this adventure and the opportunity to share the love and message of Paramahamsa Vishwananda with as many people as possible. I am always amazed by how the grace of God and Guru works. Everything is provided when we just flow with His divine will and practice non-attachment.
