Abhisheka Conch

$7.99

Before the murti is bathed, the water is blessed by the vessel that pours it. The shankha has carried that honor since Vedic times.

This natural Abhishek Shankha Conch is a right-handed (Dakshinavarti) shankha — the rare and especially auspicious form in Vedic tradition, associated with spiritual purity and Divine grace. The shankha is deeply linked with Goddess Maha-Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity, who is often depicted holding one in Her hand. Pouring water from the conch during abhishek (ceremonial bathing) of deities and Shaligram shilas is said to invoke auspiciousness and invite the blessings of the Divine into your home or temple.

Choose the size that fits your practice — from a palm-sized conch for a small home altar to a commanding shell for temple ritual.
